Online Pyrometry Calibration for Industrial Combustion Process Monitoring

چکیده

Temperature and its distribution are crucial for combustion monitoring control. For this application, digital camera-based pyrometers become increasingly popular, due to relatively low cost. However, these not universally applicable the dependence of calibration. Compared with pyrometers, cameras exist in all most every chamber. Although cameras, theologically, have ability measure temperature, lack calibration they only used visualization support decisions operators. Almost existing methods laboratory-based, hence cannot calibrate a camera operation. This paper proposes an online method. It uses pre-calibrated as standard pyrometer another The is based on photo taken by pyrometry-camera at position close Since does affect use operation, it sharply reduces cost difficulty In paper, procedure proposed, advice about how set parameters given. Besides, radio pyrometry revised wider temperature range. algorithm developed two assumptions images same flame proximity: (1) there common regions between position; (2) some constant characteristic temperatures two-dimensional distributions from different angles. And those verified real industrial plants. Based features, matching online. method was tested validated industrial-scale municipal solid waste incinerator. accuracy calibrated sufficient

Online Monitoring for Industrial Processes Quality Control Using Time Varying Parameter Model

A novel data-driven soft sensor is designed for online product quality prediction and control performance modification in industrial units. A combined approach of time variable parameter (TVP) model, dynamic auto regressive exogenous variable (DARX) algorithm, nonlinear correlation analysis and criterion-based elimination method is introduced in this work. The soft sensor performance validation...

Online classification of visual tasks for industrial workflow monitoring

Modelling and classification of time series stemming from visual workflows is a very challenging problem due to the inherent complexity of the activity patterns involved and the difficulty in tracking moving targets. In this paper, we propose a framework for classification of visual tasks in industrial environments. We propose a novel method to automatically segment the input stream and to clas...

Statistical Process Monitoring of Industrial Batch Processes

The manufacture of high-value products involves many different batch processes, for example industrial fermenters. Such processes require high levels of consistency in their operation to ensure minimal losses of raw materials, utilities and product. Recent application studies have indicated that multivariate statistical technology can provide some support when trying to maintain consistent oper...

Industrial Combustion Boilers

PROCESS AND TECHNOLOGY STATUS – Combustion boilers are widely used to generate steam for industrial applications and power generation. While all kinds of energy sources fossil fuels, biomass, nuclear and solar energy, electricity can be used to generate heat and steam, the scope of this brief is limited to combustion boilers using fossil fuels and biomass. Boilers can be grouped into two broad ...

Multifunk: Self-Organizing Sensor Networks for Industrial Process Monitoring

The technology and processes associated with manufacturing have undergone a major change during the past decades. However, what has stayed the same is that availability of the production system and quality of the produced goods play a key role. Both aspects can only be met by adequate monitoring. Monitoring itself should be easily configurable and allow addition, removal and replacement of sens...
